From the tried and tested Stage III A Yuchai engines and efficient synchronised transmissions to high performance hydraulic systems and Heavy Duty axles, 6W Series tractors feature a host of effective technical solutions for outstanding reliability and efficiency while ensuring levels of comfort and ergonomics in keeping with the most exacting European standards. These are no compromise machines, even when it comes to style.

Engine:

The superlative efficiency and reliability of the Yuchai engines are the results of zero-compromise technical choices such as: good engine displacement, a maximum rotation speed of just 2,300 rpm, turbocharger with intercooler, and electronically controlled Common Rail injection.
The 4-cylinder version, on the models 6100.4 W, 6110.4 W, 6120.4 W and 6130.4 W, has an engine displacement of 4,837cm3³, with the 6-cylinder one increasing to 6,494cm3³. These engines are distinguished by their torque and power curves suited to the agricultural context, whilst at the same time guaranteeing exceptionally low running costs. 
The good size of the radiator unit and the considerable capacity of the diesel tank ensure optimum continuous functioning, even in very hot climates. 
To avoid setbacks when working in particularly dusty places, all the models of this range are fitted with a cyclone pre-filter on the cab pillar, to increase the lifespan of the main air filter and improve engine efficiency without compromising the excellent visibility offered by the streamlined, sloping casing. The diesel tank is protected from the impact of stones and rocks by sturdy steel sheet partitions.

Hydraulic System:

Simple, potent and extremely reliable

Everything about the hydraulic system is also conceived for total reliability. The system comes as standard with open centre architecture and a fixed displacement pump with an impressive output of 80 l/min. Another pump (XX l/min) is installed as standard, dedicated to power steering and guaranteeing excellent operational smoothness even when the engine is running at minimum and during the simultaneous use of the main hydraulic circuits. Mechanically controlled 4-way distributors (6-way upon demand) are installed as standard at the rear, with the possibility to fit specific flow adjustment valves. The precise, mechanical steering control is particularly sensitive in the vicinity of the lower arms.
